Following this, the Commission had six months to approve the Plans ahead of their implementation in January 2023. EU countries were required to produce a thorough assessment of what must be done, based on a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis of their territory and agri-food sector.ĮU countries were given until 31 December 2021 to submit their CAP Strategic Plans. Each Plan will combine a wide range of targeted interventions addressing the specific needs of that EU country and deliver tangible results in relation to EU-level objectives, while contributing to the ambitions of the European Green Deal. Role of CAP Strategic PlansĮU countries will implement the new CAP with a CAP Strategic Plan at national level. It is built around ten objectives, which are also the basis upon which EU countries design their CAP Strategic Plans. The CAP’s new performance- and results-based approach is more flexible and takes into account local conditions and needs, while increasing the EU’s ambitions in terms of sustainability. It is due to be implemented from 1 January 2023.
Following extensive negotiations between the European Parliament, the Council of the EU and the European Commission, agreement was reached and the new CAP was formally adopted on 2 December 2021.
Oh yeah, the ending did not make ANY SENSE WHATSOEVER.The European Commission presented its proposal for the common agricultural policy (CAP) reform in 2018, introducing a new way of working to modernise and simplify the EU’s policy on agriculture. Please Hollywood, stop ruining great movies by turning them into senseless blockbusters. However, this does not distract from the fact that "Planet of the Apes (2001)" is a very shallow and simplistic movie, filled with paper-thin characters, stupid dialogue and a nearly non-existent plot. The make-up of the apes is magnificent, and the sets and backgrounds are beautiful too. The only thing worth mentioning about this movie is that it looks absolutely fantastic. Instead, we get a bunch of pointless action scenes, some marginally funny one-liners and some very hollow quasi-intelligent conversations. Dialogue has been reduced to a mere minimum, character interaction and development are non-existent and most of the time it's extremely hard to figure out what's going on. Instead of a great movie we get an incredibly stupid two hour chase movie. This movie, on the other hand, seems to have done away with pretty much ALL the dialogues. It was a movie that focused almost entirely on dialogue, which sounds very dull but was in fact very interesting. The original "Planet of the Apes" was an intelligent and thought-provoking movie with a very clear message.
Yet another movie classic utterly ruined by a cheap, shallow, effect-heavy and redundant remake.
